The Sinton Pirates baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Raymondville Bearkats to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Saturday.

The Pirates now hold a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rockport-Fulton for a 4A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, April 15. Sinton will play a Pirates team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 11-10.

With the defeat, Raymondville drops to 14-9 on the year. The Bearkats travel to Premont (Premont, TX) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league match on Monday, April 14. The Cowboys come into the match with a record of 8-8. Premont won 6-1 in their recent non-league match against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX)
