In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host James Logan Colts volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Palo Alto Vikings.
The Colts (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against American (Fremont, CA). The Eagles go into the Mission Valley game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, American nudged Washington (Fremont, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
The Vikings (15-11) will now prepare for their game against MacDonald (San Jose, CA). The Condor go into the SCVAL - Foothill game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, MacDonald was edged by Milpitas (Milpitas, CA), 3-2, in a league outing.
