Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE) backers left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad hold off the host Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), 7-6 in a non-league contest.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE). The Green Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Mount Pleasant was nipped by Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 15-5, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 15. Appoquinimink will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.
