Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) and the host Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), witnessed Los Alamitos's lacrosse squad gain a win over Canyon by a count of 10-8.

The Griffins (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors enter the Sunset test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Newport Harbor was edged by Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA), 15-6, in a league test.

Next, the Comanches battle the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 19. Canyon will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Sea Kings enter the test with a 8-8 record after their 13-9 league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA).
