The Solon Comets (Solon, OH) lacrosse nudged the host Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Comets now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Aurora for a non-league outing on Monday, April 14. Solon will face a Greenmen squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Greenmen record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Lake Catholic falls to 5-2 on the year. The Cougars host Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH) to face the Bruins in a Region 5 outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 1-3.
