In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wyoming Cowboys lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-10 triumph over the Lakota West Firebirds.
The Cowboys (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Turpin (Cincinnati, OH). The Spartans go into the Region 8 challenge with a 1-3 record.
Next, the Firebirds clash with the Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH) in a Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Lakota West will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 15-2 league win over Princeton (Cincinnati, OH).
