Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) and the visiting South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD), witnessed Liberty's lacrosse squad achieve victory over South River by a count of 11-7.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Warriors enter the Freelance contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Boonsboro was overwhelmed by Middletown (Middletown, MD), 12-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Seahawks meet the Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD) in a Freelance contest, on Wednesday, April 23. South River will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
