The Moorhead Spuds lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the host Monticello Magic to 6 in the Spuds non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spuds now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rocori for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15.
With the loss, Monticello falls to 1-1 on the year. The Magic travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to clash with the Bison in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. The Bison go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Buffalo lost 11-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)
