The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Huron Chiefs (New Boston, MI) and the host Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), saw Huron's baseball team gain a win over Taylor by a tally of 12-2.
The Chiefs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Airport (Carleton, MI). The Jets enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.
Next, the Griffins face the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI).
