West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson County drops to Buckhannon-Upshur

April 12, 2025: Buckhannon, WV 26201

The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers triumphed over the visiting Jefferson County Wild lacrosse team by a tally of 11-4 in Saturday's non-league match.

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 18-2 league loss to Jefferson County (Shenandoah Junction, WV).

The Wild (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Storm come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record.
