The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos triumphed over the host Highland Springs Springers lacrosse team by a tally of 12-3 in Saturday's non-league match.
Next up, the Flying Flucos confront the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a Jefferson match, on Friday, April 18. Fluvanna County will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 15-9 non-league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
The Springers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Mustangs come into the Capital match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Mechanicsville was overwhelmed by Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA), 20-6, in a league match.
