The Stoney Creek Cougars triumphed over the host Lakeview Spartans lacrosse team by a tally of 17-8 in Saturday's non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Stoney Creek will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record.
The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Kalamazoo Central notched a victory over Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI), 21-7, in a non-league match.
