The Munster Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host New Prairie Cougars to 9 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chesterton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 17. Munster will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, New Prairie falls to 1-4 on the year. The Cougars host Elkhart (Elkhart, IN) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Elkhart lost 17-1 in their recent league challenge against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN)
