Nebraska High School Soccer - Lexington knocks off Crete

The Lexington Minutemen soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Crete Cardinals to 2 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Saturday.

The Minutemen now hold a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Scottsbluff for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 15. Lexington will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Crete moves to 4-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Beatrice (Beatrice, NE) to play the Orangemen in a non-league bout on Monday, April 14. The Orangemen go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Beatrice lost 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE)
