The St. John Eagles softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host E.D. White for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. St. John will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Academy of Our Lady moves to 7-17 on the season. The Penguins host De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Cavalier in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Cavalier come into the battle with a record of 10-12. De La Salle lost 15-7 in their recent non-league battle against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)
