The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm the visiting Anoka Tornadoes softball squad by a count of 8-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Storm meet the Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) in a Central Lakes challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Sauk Rapids-Rice will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.

The Tornadoes (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Tartan was routed by North (North St. Paul, MN), 14-3, in a non-league challenge.
