Indiana High School Softball - Austin can't get by Southwestern

April 12, 2025: Hanover, IN 47243

Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), 6-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Southwestern improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Rebels host Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN) to play the Shiners in a Ohio River Valley game on Monday, April 14. The Shiners enter the game with a record of 1-2. Rising Sun lost 9-3 in their recent non-league game against Charlestown (Charlestown, IN)

The Eagles now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Christian Academy for a non-league game on Monday, April 14. Austin will play a Warriors squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
