The Biloxi Indians softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Picayune Maroon Tide to 5 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ocean Springs for a 7A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Biloxi will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 14-10 league win over St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS). The Greyhounds record now stands at 14-13.

With the loss, Picayune moves to 10-15 on the season. The Maroon tide travel to Hancock (Kiln, MS) to confront the Hawks in a 6A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 16-4. Hancock won 10-1 in their recent league battle against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS)
