Ohio High School Softball - Botkins edges Shawnee

The Botkins Trojans softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Shawnee Indians to 1 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson Center for a Shelby County battle on Monday, April 14. Botkins will confront a Tigers team coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Hardin Northern (Dola, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Shawnee moves to 3-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH) to confront the Flyers in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Flyers come into the battle with a record of 3-6. Marion Local lost 17-4 in their recent non-league battle against Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH)
