The Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) softball nipped the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Commodores now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington Catholic for a District 43 outing on Tuesday, April 15. Tates Creek will encounter a Knights team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Eastern (Louisville, KY). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Bourbon County moves to 3-12 on the season. The Colonels travel to Paris (Paris, KY) to encounter the Greyhounds in a District 40 outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Greyhounds come into the outing with a record of 11-5. Paris lost 13-1 in their recent non-league outing against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)
