The Bullard Panthers triumphed over the visiting Franklin Lions softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Bullard will attempt to upgrade on its 26-3 season record.

The Lions (23-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees enter the 3A Region III District 19 challenge with a 15-11 record. In their last challenge, Little River Academy was routed by Weiss (Pflugerville, TX), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.
