The Edon Bombers softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Continental Pirates to 5 in the Bombers non-league win on Saturday.

The Bombers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pettisville for a Buckeye Border battle on Monday, April 14. Edon will confront a Blackbirds team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Continental (Continental, OH). The Blackbirds record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Continental moves to 4-6 on the season. The Pirates travel to Ottoville (Ottoville, OH) to confront the Big Green in a Putnam County battle on Monday, April 14. The Big Green come into the battle with a record of 0-4.
