Ohio High School Softball - Northmont bounces Covington

April 12, 2025: Clayton, OH 45315

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Northmont Thunderbolts softball team scored a tight 16-12 win over the Covington Buccs.

The Thunderbolts (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Beavers come into the Greater Western Ohio match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Beavercreek was routed by Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH), 11-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Buccs confront the Bradford Railroaders (Bradford, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 14. Covington will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Railroaders come into the match with a 6-4 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Fairborn (Fairborn, OH).
