The Montabella Mustangs softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Eastern Quakers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carson City-Crystal for a Mid-State battle on Monday, April 14. Montabella will confront a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over East Lansing (East Lansing, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Eastern moves to 0-1 on the season. The Quakers travel to Mason (Mason, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Capital Area - Red battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Mason lost 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Marshall (Marshall, MI)
