The Elma Eagles softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Lakeside Eagles to 5 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoquiam for a 1A Evergreen battle on Monday, April 14. Elma will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 14-11 non-league win over Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Lakeside moves to 6-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a record of 1-8. Hoquiam lost 18-1 in their recent non-league battle against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, WA)
