The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) and the visiting Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), observed Libertyville's softball team prevail over Evanston by a tally of 17-4.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs go into the North Suburban bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, Mundelein knocked off Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL), 13-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildkits clash with the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a Central Suburban - South bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Evanston will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Trevians go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL).
