The Frederick Douglass Broncos got by the host Varsity Opponent softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Broncos meet the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Frederick Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, WV).
The (24-65) will now prepare for their challenge against Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY). The Mavericks go into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Moore Catholic held off St. Joseph Hill Academy (Staten Island, NY), 12-5, in a league challenge.
