The Hurricane Redskins overwhelmed the visiting Lawrence County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 7-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Redskins meet the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Hurricane will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Tomcats go into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY).
The Bulldogs (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fern Creek (Louisville, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Fern Creek was routed by Collins (Shelbyville, KY), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
