Ohio High School Softball - Newton Local Indian Lake

The Indian Lake Lakers triumphed over the host Newton Local Indians softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers play the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge, on Monday, April 14. Indian Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH).

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Fort Recovery was routed by Jay County (Portland, IN), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
