The Lemont Lemont HS triumphed over the visiting Plainfield North Tigers softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lemont HS play the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Lemont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL).
The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers enter the Suburban Prairie - South challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Oswego overcame Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
