Kentucky High School Softball - Magoffin County bounces Phelps

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Magoffin County Hornets softball team scored a nice 19-1 win over the Phelps Hornets.
The Hornets (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 7-13 record. In their last match, Elliott County notched a victory over Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 15-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 14. Phelps will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 5-6 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Sherman (Seth, WV).
