In Saturday's non-league test, the North Daviess Cougars (Elnora, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), by a count of 9-0.

Next, the Cougars meet the Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 14. North Daviess will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Hatchets go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 23-3 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN).

The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Heritage Hills was routed by Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN), 5-4, in a non-league test.
