The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), observed St. Joseph's Academy's softball team prevail over Northlake Christian by a tally of 13-5.

The Redstickers (11-15) will now prepare for their bout against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 22-8 record. In their last bout, St. Charles Catholic knocked off John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA), 9-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Northlake Christian will attempt to advance on its 10-12 season record. The Green Wave go into the bout with a 17-11 record after their 19-2 non-league loss to Doyle (Livingston, LA).
