In Saturday's non-league test, the Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) softball squad got by the visiting Pine River-Backus Tigers (Pine River, MN), by a count of 7-6.
Next, the Patriots meet the Little Falls Flyers (Little Falls, MN) in a Granite Ridge test, on Monday, April 14. Pequot Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Flyers go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN).
