The West Central Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Rensselaer Central Bombers to 3 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, West Central moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Trojans host Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN) to clash with the Senators in a non-league game on Thursday, April 15. The Senators come into the game with a record of 3-1. Washington Township won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN)

In their next game, the Bombers clash with the Twin Lakes Indians (Monticello, IN) in a Hoosier battle, on Saturday, April 17. Rensselaer Central will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Indians go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 21-2 league win over Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN).
