The New Fairfield Rebels crushed the visiting Bunnell Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 12-5 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Nonnewaug for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 16.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial bout, on Friday, April 15. Bunnell will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 10-2 league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT).
