The Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) baseball nipped the visiting Central Spartans (El Centro, CA), 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Miners play the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 14. Nevada Union will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Matadors enter the contest with a 4-14 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA).
