Nevada High School Baseball - Nogales gets by Sierra Vista

Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ) backers went home happy Wednesday as they saw their baseball squad knock off the host Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV), 5-2 in a non-league battle.

Coming up next, the Apaches play the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 15. Nogales will attempt to move on its 22-2 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 8-3 league win over Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ).

The Mountain Lions now possess a 14-9 record. They take the field next when they host Las Vegas for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 19. Sierra Vista will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.
