The Valley Regional Warriors baseball team scored 25 runs and limited the visiting Westbrook Knights to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Old Saybrook ran past North Branford (North Branford, CT), 6-1, in a non-league match.
The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Cromwell prevailed over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 6-5, in a league outing.
