The Valley Christian Defenders held off the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Defenders now have a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whittier Christian for a Olympic test on Thursday, April 14. Valley Christian will confront a Heralds team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Heralds record now stands at 4-10.

The Jackrabbits (18-10) will now prepare for their test against Millikan (Long Beach, CA). The Rams enter the Moore test with a 21-8 record. In their last test, Millikan held off Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
