The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), saw La Cueva's softball squad achieve victory over Los Lunas by a count of 11-1.
The Bears now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandia for a match on Friday, April 15. La Cueva will face a Matadors squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Los Lunas falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Jaguars in a match on Saturday, April 16. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 1-1.
