Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Cardinal Spellman Cardinals (Brockton, MA), 15-6 in a league battle.

The Cougars now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Grafton for a non-league battle on Friday, April 22. Austin Prep will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Holliston (Holliston, MA). The Indians record now stands at 4-0.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) in a Catholic Central battle, on Monday, April 25. Cardinal Spellman will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 14-3 league loss to Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA).
