Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA), 7-2 in a league battle.
The Warriors now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ipswich for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 16. Wakefield Memorial will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Tanners clash with the Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) in a Middlesex battle, on Friday, April 15. Woburn Memorial will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 16-1 league loss to Winchester (Winchester, MA).
