New York High School Softball - Broadalbin-Perth loses to Queensbury

The Queensbury Spartans softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Broadalbin-Perth Patriots to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Queensbury improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Spartans host South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Section 2 Foothills game on Friday, April 15. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Fonda-Fultonville Braves (Fonda, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 10. Broadalbin-Perth will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.

Alexis Rogers pitched a perfect game with 13 strikeouts. It was the sixth perfect game by an individual pitcher (seventh overall) in the history of the Queensbury softball program and first since Ally Petta recorded one on May 2, 2008.
