The Springfield Spartans softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Garfield G-Men to 4 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Springfield moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Spartans host Field (Mogadore, OH) to play the Falcons in a Portage Trail - Metro game on Friday, April 15.
