Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gorham for a Class A South challenge on Friday, April 22.
With the loss, Oxford Hills falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME) to battle the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. The Clippers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
