The Naugatuck Greyhounds softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Maloney Spartans to 2 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Naugatuck improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass game on Friday, April 15. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 18. Maloney will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
