Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Plainsmen now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Shenendehowa will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-2 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Schenectady falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY) to battle the Bears in a Section 2 Colonial challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Albany Academy for Girls lost 10-2 in their recent league challenge against Schalmont (Schenectady, NY)
