The Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) baseball the host Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), 10-7 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina 4A contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Mavericks come into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA).
