Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cache Bulldogs (Cache, OK), 13-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Owls host Noble (Noble, OK) to battle the Bears in a 5A District 2 test on Monday, April 17. The Bears come into the test with a record of 14-4.
With the defeat, Cache falls to 14-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 13-4.
